The 2022 application process guidelines are now available! Go to the How to Apply menu and click on your desired program for step-by-step instructions on how to complete the APU application. The Graduate School application period for 2022 enrollment will open on September 1, 2021.

The 2022 Application Schedule has been uploaded

The 2022 application schedule has been added to the How to Apply menu. Graduate School applications will open on September 1, 2021, and applicants may submit their application at any time before the deadline for their desired application type. Be sure to check your application type and the corresponding dates here.

Graduate School of Management Earns Accreditation from AMBA

In August 2020, the Graduate School of Management (GSM) at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) earned accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), a U.K.-based international accreditation agency for graduate level management education, thus recognizing APU as a provider of world-class MBA education.

We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has created various disruptions and challenges for students and families all around the world. We at the Admissions Office (International) would like you to know that we are committed to supporting our prospective and admitted students as much as we can during these unprecedented times. We have created a COVID-19 Admissions FAQ that covers frequently asked questions and concerns that you may have in regard to the application and enrollment procedures due to COVID-19. 2021 prospective and admitted students are encouraged to visit this page regularly for the latest updates and information.

Announcement: Handling of the IELTS Indicator for Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University Graduate Applications

We will now also be accepting IELTS Indicator score reports as official test scores for graduate applications.

APU’s Response to the Expansion of the Declaration of a State of Emergency to all Prefectures in Japan

APU's website has been updated with the university's response to the recent announcement to extend the State of Emergency to all prefectures in Japan. This announcement has updates about online classes, changes to the current semester, as well as information about access to campus. Be sure to read through the update thoroughly.
