HOW TO ACCESS APU
The only mode of public transportation that goes directly to APU's campus is the bus. Below you will find common points of transit (regional/local train stations and airports) with corresponding bus routes. Taxis may be available at some locations.

Regional/Local Train Stations
From JR Kamegawa Station
Take any Oita Kotsu Bus that is bound for APU to the last stop, “Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University” (about 15 minutes).
From JR Beppu Station
From the East Exit: Take any Oita Kotsu Bus that is bound for APU to the last stop, “Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University” (about 35 minutes).
From the West Exit: Take any Kamenoi Bus that is bound for APU to the last stop, “Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University” (about 35 minutes).
From JR Hakata Station (Fukuoka City)
Go to the Hakata Bus Terminal located next to JR Hakata Station. Take any Toyonokuni Highway Bus that is bound for Beppu to the “Beppuwan Service Area/APU” bus stop (about 140 minutes). Walk down the staircase behind the service area to campus.
Regional Airports
From Oita Airport
Take any Airport "Airliner" Limousine Bus that is bound for Beppu to the “Kamegawa (Furuichi)” bus stop (about 30 minutes) then walk to the bus stop “Furuichi” on the opposite side of the road, and transfer to any Oita Kotsu Bus that is bound for APU. Get off at the last stop, “Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University” (about 15 minutes).

From Fukuoka Airport – International Terminal
Take any Toyonokuni Highway Bus that is bound for Beppu to the “Beppuwan Service Area/APU” bus stop (about 100 minutes). Walk down the staircase behind the service area to campus.
Note: If you arrive at the domestic terminal, take the free shuttle bus to the international terminal first to use this bus.
