Start of the Japan Pre-Entry Tuberculosis Screening (JPETS) for Nationals of the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, China
From June 2025, those who are nationals of the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, and China will be required to undergo the Japan Pre-Entry Tuberculosis Screening (JPETS) when applying for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to enter Japan. (The start time of this requirement varies by nationality.)

*Applicants who wish to apply for JICA scholarships are required to submit a separate application form to APU. To obtain the appropriate form, please contact the Office of International Admissions through the Inquiry Form available on our Contact page.
