OUR INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY
About Our Campus
In the sourthern island of Kyushu, Japan, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) sits atop a mountain. APU overlooks the city of Beppu. We are one of Japan’s most international universities. Students join our vibrant community of learners from over 90 coutries and regions. We offer four-year bachelor degree programs in English and Japanese. Making us one of the top universities for international students in Japan.
We aim to create global leaders across all fields and industries. Our mission is to contribute to freedom, peace, humanity, international mutual understanding, and the future shape of the Asia Pacific region. Take interactive classes that offer countless opportunities through volunteering, studying abroad, and internships. Become equipped with essential knowledge and intercultural communication skills to work worldwide. Our graduates are in high demand by companies, organizations, and graduate schools across the globe.
Our students and alumni actively find solutions to the issues our world is facing using their well-rounded base of global knowledge. This solution-seeking spirit is symbolized in the motto of APU, “Shape your world.” We challenge our students to not only shape their worlds but also the world around them.
