~Start with WHY?~

By: Prof. PHAM Tam Long
Date: July 8, 2026 (Wed.)
Time: 6:30 PM Japan Time

Why do some global businesses inspire loyalty and movements, while others simply sell products?

The answer often has less to do with WHAT a company makes and more to do with WHY it exists.
Drawing on Simon Sinek's "Golden Circle," I will guide participants through the WHY–HOW–WHAT framework that powers the world's most influential companies. Participants will discover how purpose-driven thinking transforms ordinary businesses into forces for positive change, and how they, as future global leaders, can use it to build something that matters.

~Digital nomadism: imagining workplaces through new technologies~

By: Prof. OLTEANU Alin
Date: July 15, 2026 (Wed.)
Time: 6:30 PM Japan Time

Digitalization is increasing human mobility at historically unprecedented levels, to the the point that it is deemed to enable nomadic lifestyles.

The idiom “digital nomadism” suggests that, for the first time since agriculture and settling, humans might be able to live prosperously without settling geographically. In this lecture we will consider critically how digital nomadism is promoted by governments and business as a commodity. For this, we will ponder anthropologically on how humans, as a nomadic species, eventually chose settling and what does digital nomadism entail for current societies.

College of Sustainability and Tourism(ST)

~Identity and heritage tourism~

By: Prof. WANG Chujun
