APU offers various kinds of supports from study and extracurricular activities to job seeking, so that all the students can have a satisfying and fruitful student life at APU. Many students actively use these APU support services to make the most of their student life.
The Student Support Center provides support and advice about the following: extracurricular activities; local exchange events; homestay programs; accommodation; scholarships; student status; part-time work and using facilities and equipment. We also provide assistance relating to student life, accidents, and other problems students may encounter (All matters will be kept strictly confidential).
The Academic Office assists students with academic matters such as course registration, examinations, and grades. This office also provides advice and assistance to students on language study and various study opportunities off campus such as field study, study abroad exchange programs, Asia Pacific Language Programs. Registration of the external language exams such as TOEFL/ITP, TOEIC/IP exams, or the Business Japanese Proficiency Test (BJT) can be also made here.
At the APU Career Office we provide full support to students in their efforts to find employment at their company or organization of choice. Every year APU invites over 300 companies and organizations to the APU campus to interview and recruit students. We also provide various programs from the time students enter the University to help them form an idea of their ideal career.

The APU campus has a Health Clinic and Counseling Room that help students maintain good physical and mental health during their time in Japan. These services are provided by professionals in each area. For details, please see the Health section.
