Howard Chan
"How Having a Global Mindset Shaped my Career Path : Importance of Diversity in the Tech World"
Howard graduated from the University of Washington in 2008. After studying Japanese in Tokyo, he joined Facebook's User Operations in Palo Alto. His career flourished with roles in Dublin and as a software engineer on Instagram's search team. In 2019, he transitioned to Meta's monetization team in Singapore, becoming an Engineering Manager in 2021. Now based in Hong Kong, Howard leads the China Growth Engineering team, driving innovation and fostering collaboration across borders.

Peter Roux
Professor Roux is a trailblazer in intercultural education and innovative learning. As Deputy Director of the Center for Inclusive Leadership, he champions diversity and global citizenship, using cutting-edge research on cultural intelligence (CQ) and experiential learning to bridge divides. Since joining APU in 2021, his dynamic approach has inspired leadership transformation, making him a pivotal force in shaping inclusive global education.
Ching Chu
Ching Chu, originally from Taiwan, is a trailblazer in global business and advertising. After graduating from APU's College of Asia Pacific Studies in 2015, she launched her career in Japan, later earning an MBA from Keio University. Her passion for marketing led her to the advertising industry, and she now works at Google Japan as an adviser for digital media planning and optimization for corporate accounts, helping corporations craft impactful advertising strategies.
Ching embodies the spirit of innovation and adaptability, making her a standout figure in the global corporate landscape.
Tserendolgor Sanduijav
Tsegi, a dynamic leader from Mongolia, graduated from APU's College of International Management in 2012 and also earned her MBA there in 2015. Starting her career in PR, she later joined Hays, a global recruitment powerhouse, and since 2017 has excelled as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Amazon Japan. Tsegi embodies global expertise, seamlessly blending talent management and strategy in one of the world's top companies.
Tomoya Shoji
(formerly known as Twitter)
A dynamic leader from Japan who joined Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in 2010. Graduating in 2014 from the College of International Management, Tomoya demonstrated exceptional leadership both academically and as a key member of the university's baseball team. Launching his career at Twitter overseas, he later transitioned in 2018 to a top global tech company in Japan, showcasing his expertise and passion for innovation in the tech world.
